Motor Delay in Children: Optimizing Care in the Context of Family and Community

Course Description

This course will support primary care providers in identification and appropriate recommendations for the care of children with motor delays. The target audience is primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and educators. The conference will feature lectures with case presentations, panels and Q&A.

Course Objectives

At the completion of the course, participants should be able to identify:

  • Motor delay in infants and children.
  • Children at risk for motor delay.
  • Resources for appropriate assessment, diagnosis, and intervention.

Accreditation

Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare is accredited by the Minnesota Medical Association to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.  Gillette takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this activity.

Gillette designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 7.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Registration Information

The conference registration fee is $200 for physicians, $125 for other medical professionals. The fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments, conference materials and continuing medical education credit. Mail-in registration instructions are also available.
