Welcome to Camp Gillette 2024!

Powered by Dairy Queen, Camp Gillette provides in-person and virtual activities for campers and their families!

When: Camp Gillette is scheduled for three weeks during the summer months. The dates are June 17-21, July 15-19 and Aug. 19-23.

Where: Each week will include virtual programming on Mondays and Fridays accessible via Gillette Children's YouTube channel. There will be in-person programs at our St. Paul Campus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays of each specified week. Attendees will be able to access virtual programming throughout each week, not just exclusively on Monday or Friday when they are posted.

Theme: Each Camp Gillette week has a theme. June is Minnesota Local, July is Planes, Trains, and Automobiles and August is Our Planet.

Monday, June 17

  • Virtual Programming: Minnesota Children’s Theatre Company Presents “Legend of the Ladyslipper” streaming on Gillette YouTube page at 12 p.m.

Tuesday, June 18

  • Dairy Queen Day: The Minnesota Twins and Dairy Queen will host fun activities at our St. Paul Campus in Gateway Plaza from 12-2 p.m. Special Guest TC Bear, mascot from the Minnesota Twins, will interact with patients!

Wednesday, June 19

  • Juneteenth Celebration: Book reading, activities, crafts, dance party and more hosted by the Children’s Theatre Company from 12-2 p.m. at our St. Paul Campus in Gateway Plaza.

Thursday, June 20

  • Local Fair: Local businesses and community partners will host interactive booths from 12-2 p.m. at our St. Paul Campus in Gateway Plaza.

Friday, June 21

  • Virtual Programming: Music Therapy streaming from Gillette’s YouTube channel at 12 p.m.

Monday, July 15

  • Virtual Programming: Delta flight videos, education, demonstrations and tours streaming via Gillette YouTube Channel at 12 p.m.

Tuesday, July 16

  • Airplane Fun: Airplane-themed activities with Delta pilots from 12-2 p.m. at our St. Paul Campus in Gateway Plaza.

Wednesday, July 17

  • McGoff Construction: Explore construction equipment with McGoff and sensory bin activities from 12-2 p.m. at our St. Paul Campus in Gateway Plaza.

Thursday, July 18

  • Arts and Crafts: Wooden trains, car painting and free Dairy Queen Dilly Bars from 12-2 p.m. at our St. Paul Campus in Gateway Plaza.

Friday, July 19

  • Virtual Programming: Music Therapy streaming via our YouTube Channel at 12 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 19

  • Virtual programming: Minnesota Zoo tour streaming via Gillette YouTube Channel at 12 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 20

  • Science Museum: Froce motion presentation by the Science Museum of Minnesota 12-2 p.m. in Gateway Plaza at our St. Paul Campus.

Wednesday, Aug. 21

  • Animal Day: Minnesota Zoo and Raptor Center presentations from 12-2 p.m. in Gateway Plaza at our St. Paul Campus.

Thursday, Aug. 22

  • Field Day: Bell Museum will bring its traveling planetarium and other fun activities from 12-2 p.m. in Gateway Plaza at our St. Paul Campus. Special appearance by Goldy, mascot from the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers!

Friday, Aug. 23

  • Virtual programming: Raptor Center demonstration streaming via our YouTube Channel at 12 p.m.
