What to Expect at Prosthetics Clinic
At our Prosthetics Clinic, Gillette patients from infants through adult will see many medical experts in one visit, including an orthopedist, physiatrist, physical therapist, nurse, and prosthetist. Together these experts evaluate, screen, and recommend treatment for children with limb loss or limb difference. If they may benefit from prosthesis use, then a prosthesis may be prescribed along with a follow up plan. Patients may be seen by Gillette’s prosthetists or a prosthetist of their choosing.
