Together, Gillette Children’s and Regions Hospital work to provide Minnesota’s first Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. Certified by the American College of Surgeons, this advanced facility offers the highest level of care for children and teens who have experienced traumatic injuries.
Which conditions are treated at the Level I Pediatric Trauma Center?
The children and teens we treat at our level I trauma center often have the following conditions:
- Brain injury and related neurotrauma
- Spinal cord injury and related neurotrauma
- Other serious traumatic injuries
Gillette cares for injured patients under age 16, and Regions Hospital cares for patients 16 and older. This partnership lets us provide exceptional service to children and families in our community.
