My philosophy for caring for children with complex medical and mental health needs is to see the forest for the trees, and to include the perspectives and knowledge of family members and caregivers in the child’s life. All of our patients/families deserve a provider who will do what they can to optimize their quality of life. Their goals should be considered when establishing a plan of care that can be successful within their own home and community.
